Streamonix, in collaboration with several partners, provides state-of-the-art solutions for a variety of markets.

Live & Real-time Streaming

The Streamonix SX.Streamer not only transmits video files — it also transmits live streams from video encoders and cameras.

In fact, embedded in the SX.Streamer is a live video streaming system that receives real-time High Definition video streams from an array of H.264, MPEG-2 and VC-1 encoders and/or AVCHD (H.264) and HDV (MPEG-2) cameras, and multiplies and re-transmits those streams to hundreds or thousands of users over a Unicast IP network.

As shown in the above diagram, the SX.Streamer incorporates a high performance Video-over-IP Switch and Stream Multiplier that support an array of up to 32 encoders and/or cameras. The system receives an incoming stream from an encoder and/or camera and transmits that stream to any — or all — users.

Digital Signage

High Definition Digital Signage will soon overtake lower resolution Digital Signage technologies. Streamonix has developed state-of-the-art products and technologies as a solution for this exciting market.

  • The SX.Streamer is the High Definition streaming engine at the heart of our Digital Signage Solution, transmitting up to 1,600 HD H.264 streams (10Mbps each) over an IP network.
  • The HD streams are received by an array of SX.SVR Streaming Video Receivers, which decode the incoming video and display it on any HDMI-equipped monitor or projector (component video interfaces are also supported).
  • System control and management, and play list creation and scheduling, are handled by the Streamonix SX.Commander application, that runs on any Java-enabled computer.
  • For Digital Signage applications requiring terabytes of high performance RAID storage, our SX.NAS can be added to handle all storage tasks.
